Liderem tego zespołu był Tomasz Lipiński. Znany z wcześniejszej współpracy z Brygadą Kryzys. Tilt był popularnym zespołem w drugiej połowie lat 80-tych. Stało się tak zapewne za sprawą łagodniejszego potraktowania formuły punk rocka, a często całkowitego odejścia od tej stylistyki na rzecz np. melodyjnego reggae. Pomimo iż wielu zarzucało Lipińskiemu zdradę punk-owych idei, jego zespół stał się rockową legendą. CD wzbogacono bardzo ciekawymi nagraniami dodatkowymi.
