Zanim w świecie muzyki nastał czas Boba Marleya, muzykę rodem z Jamajki tworzył, produkował i popularyzował Lee "Scratch" Perry. Prezentowana składanka to wybór z jego przebogatego dorobku, który budowany jest od blisko pół wieku. Na dwóch płytach kompaktowych zebrano 40 najsłynniejszych nagrań Scratcha, który był jednym z wielkich idoli wspomnianego Boba Marleya. Kolekcję przygotowano z okazji 80. urodzin artysty, które wypadały w marcu 2016 roku. Są tu oczywiście takie kompozycje jak "Hurt So Good", "Curly Locks", "Mr Cop" i "War Ina Babylon". To właśnie dzięki między innymi Lee "Scratchowi" Perry'emu rozwinęły się takie gatunki muzyki jak dub, ska, rocksteady i drum'n'bass.
